About The Alaskan Wildwood Ranch®

Development of the beautiful area started in 2011 with new surveying and road names. Then, in 2013 the official introduction of the Alaskan Wildwood Ranch® took place. During that time, we saw a need for large properties that offered owner financing to individuals who loved the outdoors and homesteading. That was when we unveiled EASY Owner Financing Terms, Property and Section assigned numbers and names, and the idea to invite and cater to the homesteader.

The Alaskan Wildwood Ranch® is located in an area that allows for electric to be routed in, however, is currently off the grid. This provides residents with the feel of living remote yet having road access and driving only 25 to 30 minutes to town. Residents get to experience true off the grid living here while enjoying amenities of town life. This is truly the best of both worlds when it comes to living in Alaska. The Alaskan Wildwood Ranch®, while off the grid, offers road access, water well and septic capabilities, and amazing views of Mount Iliamna and Mount Redoubt.

The Alaskan Wildwood Ranch® sits near the base of the Caribou Hills just West of the hills and East of Anchor Point. The town of Anchor Point is about 25 – 30 minutes by car via the North Fork Road. Homer is about 45 to 50 minutes away and Soldotna is about 90 – 120 minutes away.

Directions To The Alaskan Wildwood Ranch®

From mile 156.7 of the Sterling Highway, at the flashing light in Anchor Point, turn East (or towards the hills) onto North Fork Road. You will travel on the North Fork Road to about mile 8.5 and there you will see a turn off to Nikolaevsk Road. Take a left onto Nikolaevsk Road and follow that back until you reach a sharp 90 degree turn to the right. There you will see a fire department building which looks like an airplane hanger. The road just before that is Kostino Road. Turn left onto Kostino Road and follow it to the left 90 degree turn. Instead of turning left there at the 90 onto Tomski Road, you will proceed Straight into what looks like a driveway. There is the old rust colored gate posts and the road will go down into a dip. You have entered the ranch.

Once you have entered the Alaskan Wildwood Ranch®, you will cross a bridge and go up the other side of the dip. From there, it will be mostly flat the rest of the way through the ranch. You will see a large greenhouse setup on your right as you enter. Continue straight there and when the road looks like you hit a “Y”, stay to the left. From there refer to the available properties map or contact us and we can direct you through the Alaskan Wildwood Ranch® at this time. There is about 2.5 miles of road beyond this point with available properties on both sides throughout. Properties with a red “S” on the map are Sold. Properties with their assigned numbers still there are available.

We look forward to meeting you and contact us at Alaskan Life Realty with any questions.
